Ingredients
Pretzel Crust:2 cups crushed pretzels
3 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cups melted butter
Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 container whipped topping
Topping:
1 large package strawberry jell-o (6 ounces)
2 cups water
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
20 ounces sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)
Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar for the crust ingredients together and spread in the bottom of your USA Pan 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 7 minutes and then cool completely. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, and whipped topping until well mixed. Spread on top of the cooled pretzel crust. Boil the 2 cups water and mix with large package of strawberry jell-o until jell-o is dissolved. Mix in the crushed pineapple and strawberries. You can let this jell-o mixture set for about a half hour and then pour over the whipped topping layer. Or, carefully immediately pour over the whipped topping layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until jell-o has set. ENJOY!! You could also too individual slices with additional whipped cream, if desired!
