Serving Size: 12-14 rolls

Featured Bakeware:

Ingredients

Dough:
2 eggs- room temp
1 cup lukewarm milk
1/3 cup cubed butter
4 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoon yeast- instant yeast

Cinnamon Filling:
1/3 cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoon cinnamon

Icing:
3 ounces softened cream cheese
1/4 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe Instructions

Combine all dough ingredients and stir until it comes together. Then, either knead on a slightly oiled surface or use dough hook attachment on mixer for 4-7 minutes. It should be smooth. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl and turn it to coat. Cover dough and let rise for about an hour. After an hour, turn dough out on lightly oiled surface and roll into a rectangle (16 x 21 inches). Spread the 1/3 cup softened butter from filling all over dough. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle all over the dough. Then, as tightly as possible, roll the dough up into a log starting at the short end. Cut the log into 12 slices. A sharp knife will work for this, or even dental floss/string. I cut mine into 14 slices as I cut them slightly smaller. You can either put into a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan or I used 2- 9" round cake pans. Bake these at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Beat together the icing ingredients and ice them when they come out of the oven.
