What's not to like about peach cobbler?? Sweet peaches and a biscuit topping come together with little effort and result in big flavor! Perfect warm out of the oven with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!

4 cups peeled and sliced peaches1/2 cup water
2 cups sugar (divided)
1 stick butter- melted
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 1/2 cups milk
Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a saucepan, place the peaches, water, and 1 cup of the sugar. Bring to boil and then reduce to simmer for about 10 min. Melt the stick of butter and Pour into bottom of your USA Pan 13 x 9" pan. Then, mix the other 1 cup sugar with the flour and milk. Pout this over the melted butter. No need to stir. Spoon the peaches and juice over the top. Bake for 30-45 min. The batter will rise to the top during baking. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream or enjoy plain.
