Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 ¼ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon green food color
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed. Add eggs, food color and peppermint extract. Gradually beat in flour, baking soda and salt mixture on low speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips (half dark chocolate chips and half white chocolate chips). Place cookies 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes.
