Ingredients
2 cups quick cooking oats1 cup puffed rice cereal
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup total added extras (mini chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, etc.)
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (can use any nut/ seed butter, must be creamy)
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients (Oats, rice cereal, flaxseed, salt, and any extras) and set aside for now. In a medium bowl mix together all wet ingredients, until they're completely blended. (Honey, peanut butter, oil, and vanilla extract) Pour medium bowl into the large bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour your mixture into your USA Pan Seamless 8" Square Cake Pan and press firmly into an even layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes until barley golden. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Then transfer bars to the refrigerator for 1 hour to cool. This is important for the bars to hold together. Remove from refrigerator and cut into 12 bars. Store them in the refrigerator, covered tightly, or freeze for up to 3 months. ENJOY!
