Donut Batter:10 tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 cup light-brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground mace OR ground nutmeg
1/2 cup apple cider
Coating for Donuts:
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
